Emile Heskey started his career in the youth team at Leicester City and spent six years with the Foxes before landing an 11 million pound move to Liverpool in 2000. That was a club record for the Merseysiders at the time, for a player who had won two League Cups and scored 40 times in 154 apperances for Leicester. His Liverpool record was almost identical with 39 goals in 150 games. Seven goals in 62 England appearance included a goal in the famous 5-1 win in Germany on the way to qualification for the 2002 World Cup. Heskey went on to play for Birmingham City, Wigan Athletic, Aston Villa, Newcastle Jets (Australia) and Bolton Wanderers.
