David Beckham found fame playing for his boyhood heroes Manchester United, after being discovered at Sir Bobby Charlton’s soccer school and becoming part of the famous Class of 92.  He was given his full debut by Sir Alex Ferguson in a League Cup match against Port Vale in September 1994, before a short loan spell with Peston North End. He returned to Old Trafford to chaulk up a tally of 85 goals in 394 games for the Reds. He then went on to play for Real Madrid, AC Milan, LA Galaxy and Paris Saint-Germain, as well as skippering England. He won 115 caps, 58 as captain, scoring 17 international goals and playing in three FIFA World Cups.
